Reports in England have suggested Liverpool may be eyeing Leicester City and Super Eagles’ Wilfried Ndidi as a replacement for Emre Can. The German midfielder has made it known that he will leave Anfield at the end of the season when his contract expires with Juventus his preferred destination.
The Jurgen Klopp-led side are said to be willing to take Ndidi who has settled into in at the Foxes and is fast becoming a midfield giant in the league. The 21-year-old joined Leicester from Genk in January of 2017. He has featured in all of the Foxes’ games this season earning the praise of his manager, Claude Puel.
Ndidi is expected at Eagles’ camp in Wroclaw later on Monday as part of preparations for a friendly against European side, Poland.
