Barcelona striker, Luis Suarez, is set to miss the rest of the season after undergoing knee surgery.
The Uruguayan, 32, has scored 14 goals in 23 games for the Catalans this season
He picked up a knock during the Supercopa de Espana semi-final defeat to Atletico Madrid in Jeddah on Thursday, which aggravated a previous knee issue.

Subsequently, Suarez underwent an operation in Catalunya on Sunday, and will be out of action for at least four months.
A statement from the club confirmed his extent of layoff:
“The first team player, Luis Suarez, has been operated on this Sunday by Dr. Ramon Cugat, who used keyhole surgery to resolve an injury to the external meniscus of the right knee by performing a suture.
“The Uruguayan striker will be out for approximately four months.”

The injury is a huge blow for manager,Ernesto Valverde, and the La Liga leaders, who have been increasingly reliant on the Uruguayan and his relationship with Lionel Messi this campaign.
Antoine Griezmann, who joined from Athletico in a big money move over the winter, has not lived up to expectation.

Suarez has scored 11 league goals and provided seven assists, more than anyone else in the Spanish league.
