Some Real Madrid fans have called for the sack of head coach, Zinedine Zidane, after their 3-0 away loss to Paris Saint-Germain in Wednesday’s Champions League Group A game.

Ex-Madrid winger Angel Di Maria bagged a first half brace before Thomas Meunier wrapped the win up in second-half stoppage time.

Stats also showed the Bernabeu club did not have a single shot on target.

And despite the fact Zidane only rejoined the Spanish giants in March, fans online were calling for him to be sacked.

One posted: “Zidane is a big fraud and was a success in his first tenure at Madrid all thanks to the Goat RONALDO! #PSGRMA.”

Another said: “If Zinedine Zidane has any sense he’ll go into his privacy settings on LinkedIn, and make employers know he’s open to new opportunities. Just in case.”

While one more posted: “Zidane is beyond finished without Ronaldo. How do you splash £500m on players in one summer & have a team playing this poorly? Sacked.”

Another fan wrote:”No Neymar, Mbappe and cavani yet Madrid were still torn to shreds.. 99% of Zidane success was lowkey Ronaldo… Bald Arsene wenger.”

The legendary Real player resigned from the post initially on 31 May 2018.

He won three straight Champions League titles in 2016, 2017 and 2018.
