Stefanos Tsitsipas knocked out five-time champion, Rafael Nadal, to set up Madrid Open final with world number one, Novak Djokovic on Sunday.
The 20-year-old Greek won in a compelling encounter 6-4 ,2-6, 6-3, to seal his first ever victory against the 17-time Grand Slam champion in their fourth meeting.
Tsitsipas, who was thrashed by the Spaniard in the Australian Open semi-finals, will target a second consecutive title and fourth of his career.
Djokovic saw off Roger Federer’s conqueror, Dominic Thiem, in straight sets, winning 7-6, 6-4.
