A man Olalekan Asaolu, 22, has been arraigned at the Ebute Metta Magistrate Court for stealing. According to court documents, Asaolu allegedly stole some valuables, comprising six jean trousers, mattress, clothes, trainers and handsets, worth N146, 450 at Railway Terminus, Iddo, Lagos.
The accused pleaded guilty and pleaded for mercy.
Presiding Magistrate A.S Olubule sentenced Asaolu to 242 days community service. Olubule advised the convict to be productive to himself and the society after serving his punishment.
