A 46-year-old man, Mattew Igbokwe, was on Thursday arraigned at an Ikeja Magistrates’ Court Lagos for allegedly breaking into shops and stealing motor parts worth N1,500,000.
The offence was said to have been committed on 16 September 2018 on Taiwo Street Ago-Okota, Lagos State.
According to the persecutor Inspector Benson, the offence is punishable under sections 411, 310 and 287 of the criminal law of Lagos.
The accused pleaded not guilty to the three count charge against him.
Sule Amzart, the presiding Senior Magistrate, granted the accused bail in the sum of N400, 000 with two sureties in like sum.
She adjourned until December 3 for further hearing.
