A man has been arrested by police after it emerged he had used charms against his boss, a hotelier in Lagos. The suspect, Pascal Ikeh, had leased a part of Golden Destiny, a hotel located in the Ajao Estate area of Lagos. He was said to have used the charms to make the owner, Israel Ojiekwe, forget about the agreement.

The charms were discovered by Ojiekwe after which he regained his senses. At the time he discovered the charms, Ikeh was owing N450,000 in rents. He handed him over to police at the Ajao Estate Division.

Ikeh however told the Isolo Magistrates Court, where he was arraigned, that he was innocent of the accusation. He was granted bail in the sum of N20,000 with two sureties in like sum. He was however sent to prison pending the perfection of his bail.

OA Teluwo, the presiding magistrate, adjourned the case till April 18, 2018.
