Man Assaults Neighbour’s Wife, Stabs Husband In The Eye

A man, Fatai Agbaje, was reported to have stabbed his neighbour, Sunday Kalu, in the eye and threatened to beat his wife. Kalu told Newsbreak.ng that he returned from church on the fateful day to meet Agbaje and his wife fighting. Upon inquiring from Agbaje what led to the fight, Kalu said the latter smashed a bottle and stabbed him in his eye and on his back. Agbaje was also alleged to have stolen N300,000 and a Nokia phone worth N80,000 from Kalu’s house. Upon his arraignment on a four count charge of assault and theft, at Ejigbo Magistrate Court, Agbaje pleaded not guilty and was admitted to a bail and asked to produce two sureties with verifiable addresses by Chief Magistrate J.O.E Adeyemi.
