A man, Temple Madubuko on Wednesday appeared before an Ebute-metta Magistrates court for allegedly being in possessing of dangerous weapon in the public.
Madubuko, 28, was said to have exhibited an act of violence in the public by unlawfully arming himself with dangerous weapons such as cutlasses e.t.c in the public.
He was also said to have, in the course, damaged a plasma Samsung TV and plastic chairs set (value yet unknown) and stole the sum of One million, Two hundred naira only.
Police prosecutor, Kehinde Omishakin told the court that the accused committed the offence on February 3, 2019 at Sunderland hotel annex 1 , Orile-Iganmu area of Lagos.
He said the offence contravened and is punishable under Sections 411, 168 (d), 51 and 287 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State of Nigeria.
Omishakin said the properties belong to Sunderland Hotel.
The accused pleaded not guilty to the preferred charge.
Presiding magistrate, Komolafe granted the defendant bail in the sum of N250,000 with two sureties in like sum, she added that the sureties must be gainfully employed and must provide an evidence of three years tax payment to the Lagos State Government.
She adjourned the case till March 14, 2019.
