A man has killed his four children, by driving nails through their heads and necks, after suspecting their mother, Sylvia Monyela, of cheating on him.

The fourth suffered different fate from his siblings as his head was smashed.
The children are Katlego, 9; Joyce, 7; Tshepo, 5; and Adel, 3. They were found dead at two separate locations in GaPhasha-Selatole village outside Burgersfort in Limpopo, South Africa on Tuesday.
A report says the man took the children from their school bus before gruesomely murdering them and sending his relative, Nkwane Phasha, the location of their remains via an SMS.
Phasha said he found the bodies placed at one spot in a trench not far from their house. He added that Adel’s body was found near the mountain near her great-grandmother’s home.

Phasha said the suspect told him that he killed the children to keep them safe from their “cheating and irresponsible” mother.
Sowetan reports that a few hours before the murders took place, the suspect posted a status on social media, accusing his girlfriend of 10 years of cheating and named the man he claimed she was involved with.
Police spokesman, Motlafela Mojapelo said the 52-year-old father was arrested for murders on Tuesday night.
Experts in South Africa have expressed worry over the rising number of murder of children by their own parents or relatives across he country.
Two weeks ago, Limpopo mother Keletso Maimela, 30, confessed to murdering her one-year-old daughter with her boyfriend Fannie Pholoane, 28, in September. The child was allegedly forced into a bucket filled with water and drowned while Pholoane held her legs.

In KwaZulu-Natal, in November, Sbu Mpungose was sentenced to four life terms for the murders of his three children Kuhlekonke, 4, Khwezi, 6, and Siphesihle Mpungose, 10, and his stepdaughter Ayakha Jiyane, 17. They were found hanging at their home by their mother Xolisile.
Criminal expert Chandre Gould from the Institute for Security Studies said crime statistics for the 2018/19 financial year showed that there was an increase in the murder of children, with 1,014 children murdered in that period.
She said a Medical Research Council mortuary study estimated that in 2009 about 454 children were killed by their mothers due to abuse, neglect or abandonment.
