Man Sentenced To Death In Zamfara For Killing Own Mother, Two Sisters

A High Court in Zamfara State has sentenced a man to death by hanging, for killing his mother and two sisters.

Kamal Yusuf and two others, Armayau Shehu and Caleb Humphrey, were arraigned before the court on three counts.

But Humphrey had died in prison while awaiting trial, according to Daily Trust.

The charges against them include: conspiracy, armed robber and culpable homicide.

Delivering the judgment, the chief judge of the state, Justice Kulu Aliyu, sentenced  Yusuf to death by hanging, while the second accused person, Shehu was discharged and acquitted.

The judgment can be appealed within 90 days.
