A thief left a “touching” note after stealing from the Church of Pentecost-English Assembly in the Bogoso District of the Western Region, Ghana.
The thief reportedly stole two amplifiers, a drive, and other valuables after members had closed from evening service.
Local news platforms reported that members of the church returned the following day only to discover that the auditorium had been ransacked. The thief also left a note written in red ink.
The thief who asked for the blessings of God stated that it is only Jesus who assisted a thief on the cross. He also stressed that he is not a hater of the church.
Presiding Elder of the church, Samuel Kumi, who confirmed the news, said Bogoso Police Command has officially launched investigations that could lead to the arrest of the thief.
The church has also made arrangements to employ the services of a security guard to avoid future occurrences.
