Manchester United have identified Tottenham Hotspurs’ star-striker Harry Kane as the ideal replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo.
Newsbreak.ng reports that Manchester United and Ronaldo parted ways after an ugly turn of events, and since then the club has been looking for backups.
It is believed that the English Premier League (EPL) giants want to sign Harry Kane in the upcoming January window as they look to challenge for a European spot.
Although Kane has spent a large chunk of his career being Tottenham’s main striker, Fichajes claims a fresh challenge and better chances to win silverware could lure the English forward.
In a piece of related news, according to Daily Star, tech giant Apple is interested in acquiring Manchester United after it was reported that the club is on sale.
The report suggests that Apple’s CEO Tim Cook is interested in owning the English club and could line up talks with banks that oversee the giant’s overseas sales which includes the Raine Group.
The deal would cost its new owners a sum of £5.8b as Apple’s future plans would include updating Old Trafford and increase funding for transfer.
