An Angola man, Francisco Tchikuteny Sabalo, who fathered 281 children with 47 wives, has died of prostate cancer at the age of 73.

He died recently and was buried on April 19, 2020, at Mungongo Island in Angola.

Despite the directive by the Angola President banning large gathering over the Coronavirus outbreak, reports say thousands of mourners were present at the burial.

‘Pai Grande’ as he was popularly called, lost the battle to cancer, after fighting the disease for more than a year, reports say.

He was described as a complete ‘human being’, and an advocate for Education.

According to Voice of Angola, in 2015, Sabolo said he spends over $1,500 on school supplies annually.

Three of his daughters are currently studying medicine, while two of his sons are computer science students in the University.

His family lives on farming, growing crops and rearing animals.

He was also said to be very popular in the country.
