Paris Saint-Germain forward, Kylian Mbappe, will reportedly reject a new £21m-per-season new offer at the club, as he is said to be unhappy at the Parc des Princes.
Dailymail reports that the French star “has shown no intention” of wanting to sign a new contract, with Real Madrid leading the chase for him.
PSG are desperate to persuade the 20-year-old to extend his current deal beyond 2022, and are not interested in entering negotiations with any suitor next summer.
But, according to Spanish newspaper, Marca, the French champions are having difficulty managing Mbappe’s ambitions, and are worried about his attitude in recent games.
Mbappe was substituted by coach Thomas Tuchel in their last two Ligue 1 matches against Nantes and Montpellier, with the former Monaco striker reacting badly on both occasions.
This has been interpreted as a signal to both the PSG coach and the board of his intention.
Madrid have made no secret of their desire to sign the 2018 World Cup winner, who is considered as one of the best players in the world despite his young age.
The Parisian club have tried to convince Mbappe that he is already at a successful club, with winning the Champions League as their main priority.
