Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, is not planning to launch his book, ‘My Service To Humanity’, as part of plans to venture into politics in 2023, Jimoh Buhari, his aide has said.
MC Oluomo’s plan to release the book in March sparked different reactions on social media, with many saying he is preparing a way for his entry into politics.
It is not the first time the Chairman of the Lagos State Chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) has been rumoured to be eyeing a political career. In the run up to the 2019 election, rumours had been rife that he would be presented as the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the state.

“The book is not yet ready but should be launched around March when MC Oluomo’s birthday will be held.
“The book is just about MC Oluomo’s experiences, his history, and his life story. There are many misconceptions about him and the book gives him the opportunity of clearing the air on many issues.
“It is certainly not about 2023 politics. There have been rumours about his intention to contest but right now, he has no such ambition,” Buhari told The Punch.
