Melania Trump, wife of the United States President, Donald Trump has announced her trip to four African countries in October.
She will be visiting Ghana, Malawi, Kenya and Egypt, with plans to emphasize child welfare in the countries.
Melania alongside the first ladies of Ghana, Kenya and Malawi, made this known at the UN General Assembly in New York.
Melania also talked about her “Be Best” campaign at a reception honoring United Nations General Assembly attendees.
According to reports, there are arrangements being made for the first solo trip of the United States first lady Melania Trump, to Africa.
This is the first time the first lady would be in Africa.
“Oct. 1 will mark the first day of my solo visit to four beautiful and very different countries in Africa,” Melania said during her brief remark.
