Olisa Metuh has heightened his opposition to Justice Okon Abang’s handling of a fraud suit against him. Metuh had alleged Abang was his classmate at the Nigerian Law school set of 1988, which the judge denied. Metuh, who was expected to open his defence on Thursday, filed two separate applications, one of which wants Abang to disqualify himself from the case. Metuh, spokesman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, is facing a fraud charge, in which he was said to have received N400m meant for the purchase of arms for soldiers fighting Boko Haram in Nigeria’s North-East.
