Ismaila Mustapha, a suspected internet fraudster, also known as Mompha, has dropped the N5 million fundamental right suit he filed against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to challenge his rearrest.
Gboyega Oyewole (SAN), his lawyer, told The Punch that his client was released on bail.
Mompha was rearrested on August 14 by the EFCC when he went to collect some of his personal belongings seized by the anti-graft commission in Ikoyi, Lagos.

His visit to the EFCC office followed a July 24 ruling by Justice Mohammed Liman ordering the release of the items to him.
After his rearrest, Dele Oyewale, spokesman for the EFCC, said Mompha had been arrested over a fresh set of cyber fraud allegations which is different from his money laundering charge.
