Ibrahim Oriyomi, also known as ‘Small Jpron’, the notorious cultist that was killed in the Shomolu area of Lagos State, was during an alleged peace talk with a rival gang, Newsbreak.ng has gathered.
A reliable source told our correspondent that Small Jpron, the leader of Eiye Confraternity, was supposed to meet with some members of the rival Aiye cult group for a peace talk organised by Hon. Ademorin Kuye, a former Lagos State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.

The meeting was said to have turned out to be a death trap for Small Jpron. He said the late cult leader was helpless as he was unarmed while his rivals came prepared.
Another respondent who pleaded for anonymity said Kuye did nothing to stop the attack. He said Small Jpron had been unaffected after he was shot three times.
“He was shot thrice but the bullet didn’t penetrate into his body, that was when the honorable should have intervened and calm the situation but he just sat there and did nothing,” he said.
His death has sparked mixed reactions in the area. Some residents who spoke to Newsbreak.ng said Small Jpron deserved to die while others said he was considering turning a new leaf before he met his death.
A man identified as Alade, said the cultist had killed many people and deserved to die.
Kunle, a motorcycle rider, expressed shock at his death saying he was a ”warrior” and it was amazing how such a ”small battle” could take his life. He stated that it was certain his group would avenge his death, adding that many would be killed.
“This is not the end of the fight, a lot of people are still going to die. It’s the Police that is still keeping things calm, Small Jpron group will surely retaliate.” he said.
Ola, a tailor, and his neighbor said “Ibrahim is a nice person if you know him personally, just that his way of life overshadows his good side. He doesn’t joke with his family and people close to him.”
Small Jpron is said to be the only surviving son of his mother. He is also said to have two daughters from different women.
