MultiChoice Talent Factory (MTF) today graduated 19 students after months of intense training in film and television production.
Speaking at the event held at Terra Kulture, Lagos Island, CEO, MultiChoice Nigeria, John Ugbe, stated that despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the students were able to quickly adapt to the transition from physical to virtual learning which is a testament to the world-class nature of the academy’s course.
Awards as well as scholarships were given to students who excelled during the programme.
The MTF initiative has enjoyed continued success thanks to its strong partnerships with renowned organisations such as NYFA, Dolby Studios, Canon, Zee World, Pan-Atlantic University in Nigeria, Kenyatta University in Kenya, and the University of Zambia and more.
The MTF Academy provides a 12-month accredited programme in filmmaking. As part of their curriculum, the students participated in various courses under the tutelage of seasoned industry professionals from all over the continent.
The final requirement of their curriculum was to create and develop feature films, which will be launching on DSTV local channels.
