Bayo Onanuga, managing director, News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, was Thursday fleeced of his phone at the commissioning of the Editors’ House – the secretariat of the Nigerian Guild of Editors – at Mojidi Street, off Toyin Street, Ikeja, in Lagos.
A source at the event said Onanuga had merely stretched his hands to shake another guest when he realized his phone had been taken off him. Shell-shocked and disbelieving, Onanuga reportedly lamented the theft to former colleagues and other guests.
