The national stadium and Teslim Balogun Stadium both in Surulere, Lagos, have been temporarily closed.

Newsbreak was reliably informed by a source at the secretariat of the Lagos Sport Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) that the closure was as a result of the planned visit of President Muhammadu Buhari for the All Progressives Congress’ rally on Saturday, 9 February.

“The reason for the closure of the national stadium and also the Teslim Balogun stadium is because President Buhari is coming to Lagos for the APC rally.
