The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, has sent birthday wishes to Super Falcons striker Asisat Oshoala who clocked 24 on Tuesday.
The NFF took to their verified Twitter handle to send their message to the Dalian Quanjian FC star.
“Happy birthday to African Women Player of the Year and @NGSuper_Falcons forward @AsisatOshoala. Have a good one golden girl.”
Prior to joining Dalian Quanjian, Oshoala played for Arsenal and Liverpool Ladies.
Oshoala was a member of the Super Falcons squad that won the 2014 and 2016 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations.
She was named Africa Women’s Footballer of the Year in 2014, 2016 and 2017.
At the 2014 FIFA Women’s U-20 World Cup in Canada, she won both the Golden Boot and Golden Ball awards.
