A presidential aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, has asserted that Nigeria is sadly “collapsing”.
Newsbreak reports that Obi, PDP’s Vice-Presidential candidate in the last general elections, appealed to the party’s delegates in Kaduna State to allow him to reposition Nigeria in 2023.
He told them that if elected President in 2023, he will ‘change the narrative’.
“The future of our children is in danger if we continue to do things the old way, Nigeria is collapsing and your votes can change the narrative, let’s join hands to build a better future,” Obi said.
The PDP presidential primary election has been scheduled for the end of May while Nigerians watch with rapt keenness as the party elects its flagbearer at their conventions.
