A total of 64 new cases of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) has been confirmed in Nigeria, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed late Monday.
In a post on its Twitter handle, the centre said 34 of the cases were recorded in Lagos State, 15 in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), 11 in Borno State and two in Taraba and Gombe states respectively.
No new death was reported.

This latest figure brings the number of confirmed Coronavirus cases in Nigeria to 1337, with the virus spreading to 32 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Out of the 1337 cases, Lagos State has recorded the highest number with 764, followed by the FCT with 157, Kano State with 77, Borno State with 41, Gombe State has 37, Ogun State with 35, Osun State with 34, Katsina State has 30, Edo State with 25, Oyo State has 21, Kaduna State with 15, Bauchi State with 14, Akwa Ibom has 12, Kwara State has 11, Sokoto State with 10, Ekiti, Ondo and Taraba states have eight respectively, Rivers State has six, Enugu, Niger, Jigawa and Abia, and Zamfara states have two each, and Benue, Anambra, Adamawa, Plateau, Imo, Bayelsa, Ebonyi and Kebbi states with one respectively.
A total of 40 deaths have been recorded, while 255 patients have been discharged.
