Nollywood actress, Shan George, has educated Nigerians on the choice of words they use, insisting that there is no such thing as a single mother.

According to the actress, who took to her Instagram story on Friday, society has berated and made women feel inadequate.

She went further to state that there is mother and father in simple terms, but rather society chooses to downgrade people making them feel less of themselves by tagging them as ‘single mother and father’.

She wrote: “No woman is a SINGLE MOTHER. There’s Mother and There’s Father simple. Society is always looking for words to use for people to feel small and inadequate about themselves.”
