Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) club, FC IfeanyiUbah, have accepted ten Brazilians for trials ahead of the 2015/16 season. The players arrived at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport on Wednesday and will join the rest of the squad in Ibadan for pre-season camping. Chairman of the team, Chukwuma Ubah, who was at the airport to welcome the players, encouraged them to do their very best to earn deals with the club.
“This season we decided that even if you are a Messi or Ronaldo, you have to touch the ball in Nigeria. We have insisted that whoever must play for us must touch the ball and after they must have gone through the trials then we will determine who will be signed,” he said.
“If you agree with me, Ifeanyi Ubah (club owner) is someone that goes for near perfection, we know only God is perfect, we try to put finesse in anything we do. We don’t go for little measures, we aim so high.
“As it is, out target is to bring good football into Nigeria and it is an opportunity for anyone who will be playing with them to learn from them,” he said.

The team had some coaching criss last season in which Daniel Amokachi had purportedly deserted the team on the pitch. The team finished last season 11th.
