Coach Abdul Maikaba of Plateau United believes his boys played very well against their hosts, Nasarawa United, but the unfriendly weather was responsible for their defeat.

“We tried our best, most especially in the first half, but I believe the weather run my boys down.
“Nasarawa United scored the first goal against the run of play, and the second one through a penalty.
“All the same, we congratulate them and wish them the best, while on our side, we will keep pushing to see whether we can be in top four or top five at the end of the campaign.”
Coach of the home team, Bala Nikyu said his team must up their game because the league is running to and. He said: “It’s a beautiful match. The league is getting to an end and if you want to belong, you must play well.
“So, at least, we tried as much as possible to see that we play well and wait for the results to come.
“For Chinedu Ohanachom winning the man-of-the-match, it’s a good thing.
“Most of the matches we have played, such award had been won by my players, and this is a clear indication that the boys are doing well.”
