Ovie Omo-Agege, a Senator representing Delta State Constituency, on Tuesday appeared before the Senate committee investigating the invasion of the National Assembly and theft of the Senate Mace.

The committee had, last week, invited senators Omo-Agege and Ali Ndume over their alleged roles in the attack on the Senate.

Omo-Agege, who appeared before the panel said ‎he had dragged it to court along with several others. He stated that it would be sub judice for him to speak on the matter.

“I am here to inform you that we’ve gone to court,” he said.

There was, however, an exchange of words between Na’Allah and Omo-Agege on whether the panel had been duly served.
