Former Presidential aide, Reno Omokri, on Monday, led a protest against All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate Bola Tinubu, who was scheduled to speak at Chatham House in London.
Omokri, a staunch supporter of Atiku Abubakar, was seen in a now-viral video at Chatham House with his supporters screaming the word Tinubu ‘Ole,’ a Yoruba term for a thief.
In the aftermath of the incident, Omokri, who says that the former Lagos governor is a notorious drug lord, stated that the presidential candidate will never forget the protest.
“Tinubu will never forget the protest we just pulled off at Chatham House. He was disgraced and could not get out of his car. He had to run away. The #HarassTinubuOutofLondon Protest Against Drug Lord Tinubu at Chatham House was a resounding success! We shook the drug lord Asiwaju,” Omokri wrote.
Tinubu had earlier been scheduled to speak at the Royal Institute of International Affairs, popularly known as Chatham House, in London, where he would discuss his plans for Nigeria.
Seven years have passed since President Muhammadu Buhari spoke at Chatham House on February 25, 2015, when he was running for president of the APC.
