Kingsley ‘Kanunta’ Kanu, brother of Nnamdi Kanu, founder of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) on Wednesday asserted that the Nigerian government “has nothing against” the lead separatist.

Newsbreak recalls that the Federal Government, on June 29, 2021, announced that it has arrested and extradited Kanu to Nigeria to continue to face a terrorism trial.

Kanu disappeared from Nigeria after skipping bail in 2017 and was re-arrested last year in Kenya.

“It’s a year today #MaziNnamdiKanu was kidnapped by @GovNigeria from Kenya. No judgment till today because, Nigeria has nothing against #MNK,” Kingsley wrote on his known Twitter handle.

Kanu uses social media a lot to propagate his separatist agenda. This was his last tweet, hours to his capture in Kenya
