The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has commissioned seven commuter buses, in partnership with Olofin Micro finance Bank, to aid smooth transportation for residents of Ile Ife and its environs. The buses, assembled by Leyland Motor Company, were said to have gulped N56 million. The monarch also launched a free healthcare centre for the people. He implored the people to always use the health centre saying development can not thrive in a town with health challenges.
The Managing Director of Olofin Micro Finance Bank, Toyin Olufolahan, said the the bank decided to partner the monarch in his bid to bring about economic transformation in Ile Ife.
