As the 2022 Osun State governorship election draws near, Newsbreak reports that Kano State governor and co-chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC’s) National Campaign Council, Abdullahi Ganduje, says the ruling party will use ‘strategy bags’ to defeat ‘money bags’ in the main opposition, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Ganduje was speaking with pressmen on Thursday after Abdullahi Adamu, the APC National Chairman, inaugurated an 86-member campaign council in respect of the forthcoming Osun election.
According to Ganduje, the campaign team would work day and night and campaign vigorously for the success of the party in the election slated for July 16, 2022.
His words: “We are told that we are fighting an opposition with money bags. But we want to assure you that we are coming with strategy bags. We are seeking the cooperation of all stakeholders, especially our governors.
“Our national chairman, we want to assure you that we will work day and night. We will be committed. Some of us have already started behind the scene. One important issue about the Osun election is reconciliation.
“So, reconciliation is totally necessary so that we will believe in each other. We agreed that all stakeholders in Osun State will come together and constitute one single force in order to win this important election.”
