A total of six new cases of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) has been confirmed in Nigeria, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Friday.

In a post on its Twitter handle, the centre said all the six cases were recorded in Osun State.

This brings the number of confirmed Coronavirus cases in Nigeria to 190.
Out of the 190 cases, Lagos State has recorded the highest number with 98, followed by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) with 38, Osun State with 20, Oyo State has eight, Akwa Ibom with five; Ogun, Kaduna and Edo states with four each, Bauchi has three; Enugu and Ekiti states with two each, and Rivers and Benue states with one respectively.

Two fatalities have been reported, while 20 patients have recovered and been discharged.
