Rivers State governor,  Nyesome Wike, on Thursday, jokingly said that Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party, likes the good life despite pretending not to.

He made this remark during Obi’s visit to commission a project in Rivers State.

Wike said, “When people see you, they think you don’t like good things, you like good things. I went to your house and looked around and said, this man likes good things. Even the food you served us was not for poor man. Even the drink, I was surprised. I told my people, even this man likes good thing but when he goes outside, he pretends.”

Wike has been inviting candidates and members of the opposition parties to commission projects in his state as part of his on-going rift with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), its national chairman,  Iyorchia Ayu and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
