Inter Milan forward, Ivan Perisic, has joined Bayern Munich on a season long-loan, the Nerazzurri said on Tuesday. The Croatian international’s deal would be worth about $6 million, Inter also said.
The buyout clause in his contract is also said to be worth $22 million. Perisic, 30, played 141 times for the Milan-based club, after joining them from Wolfsburg in 2015.

Bayern had wanted to sign Manchester City winger, Leroy Sane, 23, but the Bundesliga champions were put off by the Citizens’ asking price.
After failing to sign Sane, Bayern coach, Niko Kovac, while expressing confidence in Perisic, said it is about what a player can offer, and not about the age.
“Perisic instead of Sané? You can’t talk about a B, C or X solution and I think we will all have to ask ourselves if what’s happening here recently is right. I think this is not the point, every player deserves the respect he is due,” he stated.
He had previously spent two years at Borussia Dortmund. He scored 37 goals in his time at Inter. He was linked with Manchester United last season under Jose Mourinho, but the deal didn’t go through.
