Peter Obi of the Labour Party has rejected the verdict of the Presidential Election Petitions Court (PEPC) affirming the electoral victory of President Bola Tinubu in the February 25 general election.
Obi disclosed this at a press briefing on Thursday evening in Onitsha, Anambra State.
He added that he had instructed his Lawyers to do the needful and appeal the judgement of PEPC at the Supreme Court of Nigeria according to the provisions of the 1999 Constitution (as amended).
Obi also appealed to Nigerians to remain calm and peaceful, saying he will not relent until justice is done.
This is coming hours after the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, had announced same position.
