Peter Obi’s support groups have vowed to follow him to the new party to achieve his presidential ambition.

Newbreak.ng earlier reported that Peter Obi officially dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) days before the party’s primary election.

The letter conveying his resignation from the party was submitted to the National Chairman of the PDP, Dr. Iyorchia Ayu.

As of press time, Peter Obi is yet to disclose his next political move.

Recall over the weekend, supporters across the 36 States of the federation and FCT embarked on a One-Million-Man March in a bid to show maximum solidarity, love, and support for Peter Obi’s mandate for the 2023 presidency.

However, despite dumping the PDP, his supporters on social media have vowed to follow him to the new party because they believe in his capacity.

Newsbreak captures some comments via Twitter, see below;

If Peter Obi is going to be our President, I don’t want him to be leading us under a widely corrupt and finished party like PDP anyways. Obi did the right thing, now we awaits the next move..

Great move by Peter Obi.
Anywhere Obi face, I face.

One million march was for Peter Obi not PDP that's how I know that wherever Peter Obi goes, we in our millions go! It's really that simple. The goal of a better Nigeria has to be achieved, even if our route differ!!!!

If you are a Peter Obi supporter quickly unfollow @OfficialPDPNig immediately you see this tweet!

It's now the masses who wants good governance against the corrupt PDP and APC.

Do you know that Peter Obi wrote his resignation letter himself? He even signed and stamped it himself. He didn't need an assistant to do it for him like other politicians. He is such a humble leader. Go and verify.
