Goodluck Jonathan, former president, visited Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, on Thursday.
Buhari received his predecessor shortly after his closed door meeting with under fire service chiefs, who have been asked to resign over the current state of insecurity in the country.
It is the first time Jonathan would be visiting Buhari since the Bayelsa governorship election in November last year, which his party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), lost to the All Progressives Congress (APC), after ruling the state for 20 years.
Jonathan was accused of supporting the APC candidate, David Lyon, against his own party for personal gains.
