A man simply identified as Oguntominiyi, has reportedly escaped death in Aralopon community, Ilesha area of Osun State, after a truck rammed into his house.
It was gathered that Oguntominiyi, a headmaster at Temidire Model Government Elementary and Middle School, Ibodi, in Osun and owner of the apartment, was sleeping in his apartment around 2.00 pm on Wednesday, when the incident occurred.
A heavy-laden truck with registration number, M179 SAJ, was said to have had a brake failure while the driver was trying to navigate through a rough road.
The vehicle then rammed into the room where Oguntominiyi was having a nap, The Nation reports.
“Oguntominiyi just came back from work, so he decided to sleep to get over the day’s work before the unfortunate incident happened”, an eyewitness was quoted as saying.
