Ahmed Wase, deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, on Friday, led the Northern Caucus of the house to visit Bola Tinubu, the National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in London.
The visit coincides with Nigeria’s 61st independence anniversary celebration on October 1.
It was reported that representatives of the State Caucuses from the North-east, North-west and North-central geo-political zones were part of the delegation.
Ondo State governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, and his Ekiti counterpart, Kayode Fayemi, had earlier visited the ailing former governor of Lagos State in London.
Tinubu is said to have undergone surgery in London, where he is still recuperating.
Tosin Adeyanju, Director Media and Publicity of the Tinubu Support Group, confirmed that the Caucus visited his principal in London.
