One person was reportedly killed and several vehicles smashed, after cult groups clashed in the Ebute Metta area in Lagos State on Tuesday night.

It was gathered that members of the cult groups invaded Freeman Street in the area around 8.00pm, and began to destroy every car parked on the street after clash.

Muyiwa Adejobi, spokesperson of the police command, said an official statement on the incident will be issued on Wednesday.
