Operatives of the Ogun State Police Command have arrested 150 persons for allegedly wreaking havoc on residents of communities in Ogun State.

This was disclosed in a post on Twitter by SF Emmanuel Ojo, the Senior Special Assistant to Dapo Abiodun, the Ogun State Governor on New Media, on Sunday.
According to Ojo, the suspects were arrest for allegedly fomenting trouble and causing unrest in the Agbado Ijaiye, Sango, Ijoko and Ifo axis of the state.

Some of the items recovered from the suspects include pistols, ammunitions, machetes, hammers, scissors and a gas cylinder.
The arrest follows the spike in criminal activities, particularly the robbery of people, in Ogun State since Friday despite the lockdown declared on the state by President Muhammadu Buhari to curb the spread op the novel Coronavirus.
