Operatives of the Rivers Police Command on Tuesday discovered and exhumed the corpse of Geofrey Zwallamark, a retired army captain, who was kidnapped and killed in Rivers State.
Zwallamark’s body was found buried in a shallow grave in the Igbo-Etche area of the state, near Port Harcourt.
Friday Eboka, the Rivers Commissioner of Police, led a team of operatives and newsmen to the site of the shallow grave on Tuesday.
He announced that the suspects were tracked and arrested.
The 64-year-old Zwallamark was abducted from his residence in Agbonchia, Eleme Local Government Area of the state in September 2021 by a four-man gang who shot him on the leg leading to his death.
