Operatives of the Rivers State Police Command have rescued two kidnapped victims including a job seeker and arrested ten suspected kidnappers.

Spokesperson of the command, SP Nnamdi Omoni, who disclosed this in a statement on Sunday November 28, said that the job seeker, Adele Emmanuel, was lured from Delta State to Port Harcourt for a non-existent employment.
“The trio of Bright Williams ‘m’ 22 years, Queen Effiong Edem ‘f’ 20 years and Ndidi Apaka ’m’ were arrested in connection with the case of kidnapping of Adele Emmanuel who was lured from Delta State to Port Harcourt for a non-existent employment,” the PPRO stated.

“While in Port Harcourt, he was held hostage and kept in a Hotel at Obeama, Oyigbo LGA where the Police Operatives through intelligence led Policing stormed and rescued him.
“Three suspects including the Director of the Hotel, a lady and one of the gang members were arrested and are helping us in our investigation. They will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded”, the PPRO added.
