A police constable, Jamie Larman, has been sacked just two weeks after resuming at the Thames Valley Police in the United Kingdom.
Larman was sacked for stealing seven fry-up breakfast from the training centre’s canteen at Berkshire.
According to the set rules of the training facility, officers and staff can only stay on site and receive complimentary meals if they live more than 20 miles away. While those who stay close must pay for their meals. These rules were clearly known to the sacked officer before he breached them.
In his own defence, the disgraced constable claimed that he took the food in order to build a rapport with his colleagues.
With his sack from the Thames Valley Police, Larman who once served as a Police Community Support Officer before he was commissioned as a constable was initially warned in 2019 when he was caught taking food before his training.
