The Nigerian Presidency seems to have confirmed earlier speculation of a relapse by President Muhammdu Buhari, who also hasn’t also been sighted for days. Sunday Punch claimed the situation had created an anxiety and decided to seek a comment from presidential spokesman, Femi Adesina.
“The President is recovering, and our prayer is that he returns to full heath soon.
“On arrival in the country on March 10, he (Buhari) said he would still travel at a later time. No date was given, but be assured that when it’s time to travel, the country would be told.
“The President is a plain and straightforward person,” Adesina allegedly said.
Prior to his return in March, the Nigerian leader was on a 49-day sick leave in London, where series of medical tests were reportedly carried out on him.
