Newsbreak.ng reports that Shehu Sani a former federal lawmaker stated this via his official Twitter handle as the Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s certificate controversy persists.
Recall Tinubu told the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) that his school certificates were stolen by unknown persons during the military rule.
Tinubu stated this in an affidavit submitted to INEC as part of his eligibility filings for the 2023 presidential elections.
In the documents released, Tinubu left the columns for his primary and secondary education unmarked.
This had created a controversy, particularly on social media.
Reacting to the Tinubu’s certificate controversy, Shehu Sani said, “Allow Primary and Secondary schools to award honorary certificates.(Honoris causa WAEC/NECO). Thank you”.
