GavelResidents of Olorunshogo Street in Mushin area of Lagos State have been celebrating the arrest of an under-aged boy, Mutiu Badaro, notorious for terrorising the neighbourhood.  Badaro’s cup became full when he, alongside his gang members, was alleged to have disrupted a recent campaign rally by the All Progressives Congress in the area, on 26 January. Badaro, 15, was subsequently arrested and arraigned by the police before an Isolo Magistrate Court on a two-count charge. The police narrated to the court how Badaro and his gang members, who are at large, used guns and cutlasses to terrorise people at the rally. The police noted that the teenage suspect has always been a trouble-maker.

The suspect pleaded not guilty to the charge, and was granted a bail of N100,000. Further hearing in the case was adjourned till 5 March, 2015.
